"During the earlier parts of my ‘career’ I had dismissed much of the knowledge that has ironically become the basis of what we now do at The Juicy Effect. Energy was something provided by power stations and Red Bull, and Ancient Wisdom was anything that didn’t involve modernf technology. I was convinced everything new simply had to be better simply because it was newer.
How things have changed!
Probably the most interesting fact I can share is that I have spent over a decade now exploring various techniques from the last 5,000 years of human history to understand what being human is all about. From the latest that Neuroscience is teaching us about the human mind to learning Yoga Philosophy in an Ashram in northern India, I have discovered that having on open mind about pretty much everything is one of life’s secrets. If you are feeling a bit stuck, considering a change in career or curious about how to transform your approach to your future, we should definitely be speaking.
I am still very much involved in the corporate world, it’s just that I now do it from Ubud in Bali. I have transitioned my own career through Marketing, Advertising, Sales, Information Technology, Research, Human Resources, Consulting plus a few other things. I have led organisations, started others, and understand what the corporate world is all about.
I have also been fortunate to have lived in many places around the world and experienced many things that people told me could never happen. In other words I understand what '‘new beginnings’ are all about, how difficult they can be, and how rewarding they are.
I use a number of tools and approaches collected over many years, including how to discover yourself through the ancient science of Vedic Astrology. But most importantly, I am a student of the mind and my interest is helping people to understand how they can maintain the balance of their mind regardless of circumstances and other people.
Qualifications: Diploma of Neuroscience in Leadership, Qualified 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher (incl Yoga Philosophy), Vedic Astrology & KP Astrology Practitioner, Bachelor or Business (Marketing), as well as successfully leading teams and organisations at various stages of their lifecycle.
P.S. People ask me, why did I start studying random things like Vedic Astrology, Yoga Philosophy and other such disciplines. Being truthful, I originally set out to rule these things out as useful tools The more I studied, the more I changed my mind because, well, they became too useful. And now I incorporate a range of approaches to help people discover themselves to live a great life.
